Each year, BioEM presents Student Awards for both oral and poster presentations.

For each category (oral and poster), the following prizes are awarded:

• 1st place: €500

• 2nd place: €300

• 3rd place: €200

This means a total of six prizes are awarded:
three for oral presentations and three for poster presentations.

The submissions are reviewed and evaluated during the congress by the jury, based on scientific quality, originality, and presentation skills.
