Alexandre Legros travel support for students

In memory of Alexandre Legros, The BioEM board of directors have decided to set up a travel support scheme for two students to attend BioEM annual meetings. 

This initiative honors Alex’s legacy by encouraging the next generation of researchers to engage in scientific collaboration.

Funding Details

• Free conference registration (€250 value).
• Travel and accommodation reimbursement up to €1,750
• Total amount of the award can not exceed €2000. 
• Only economy-class flights or second-class train tickets are eligible.
• Accommodation reimbursement is capped at €125 per night, for up to 5 nights.
• Receipts are required for reimbursement.
• Subsistence expenses are not covered.

Selection Criteria

• Open exclusively to students presenting at the BioEM annual meeting.
• The highest-rated student poster and highest-rated student platform presentation will receive support.
• Abstract quality will be the primary evaluation criterion.
