We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Andy Tay has been selected as the recipient of the Young Scientist Award in Bioelectromagnetics 2025.
This prestigious award, presented annually by the BioEM Board, recognizes outstanding achievements by early-career researchers who demonstrate innovation, excellence, and impact in the field of bioelectromagnetics. Dr. Tay was selected for his exceptional contributions to the field, combining scientific originality with interdisciplinary approaches and global collaboration.
As part of the award, Dr. Tay receives:– A prize of €5,000– A waived registration to attend BioEM 2025– An invited plenary lecture to present his research at the conference
Candidates for the Young Scientist Award must be within 10 years of obtaining their PhD and under 40 years old as of January 1st of the nomination year. Submissions are reviewed by an international selection committee, based on research originality, scientific independence, publication impact, and overall contribution to the field.
