BioEM

16th September 2022

Please note that the deadline for submitting your suggestions for special sessions at BioEM2023 has been extended to 30 September, 2022.

Please send you proposals to tpc@bioem.org.

The TPC is seeking ideas and suggestions on special sessions (plenary sessions, tutorials, and workshops) for the annual scientific meeting of BioEM 2023 which will be held in Oxford, UK during the week 18-23 June 2023 (BioEM2023.org).

The scientific quality of our annual meetings is of utmost importance. We particularly encourage proposals to include highly regarded speakers from within and outside the Bioelectromagnetics community, to explore new and emerging scientific ideas and enhance our perspective on various applications. The speakers should be outstanding in terms of scientific knowledge and performance, and repetition of previously presented talks should be avoided.

Considering the above, the board of directors of BioEM and the Technical Program Committee (TPC) for BioEM 2023 invite you to submit your ideas for plenary sessions, tutorials, and workshops to tpc@bioem.org, no later than Friday 30 September 2022.

Proposals should outline the topic, the rationale, and preferably a list of potential speakers or workshop conveners (with affiliations and qualifications). See below for the formats for plenary, tutorial, and workshop sessions, and the requirements for proposal submission.

Please note that travel support is not available for organizers and speakers of tutorials and workshops. Exceptional tutorial applications may be supported financially if approved by the BioEM board.

The board of directors of BioEM and TPC will make decisions on selection of proposals based on the quality of proposals, including convincing rationale, up-to-date topic, exceptionally reputed speakers and balance between different areas of Bioelectromagnetics.

We look forward to receiving your proposals.

Yours Sincerely,

Florence Poulletier De Gannes and Yasir Alfadhl
