Call for Associate Editors Bioelectromagnetics

Bioelectromagnetics, an international peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing research in its field and the official journal of BioEM Society, is seeking applications for Associate Editors to join our editorial team. We are looking for experienced scholars and researchers from across the globe who are committed to promoting academic excellence and innovation in: 

• Electromagnetic fields dosimetry and exposure assessment
• Biological and health effects of electromagnetic fields
• Knowledge and experience on the impact of physical environmental stressors on flora and fauna

About Bioelectromagnetics:

Bioelectromagnetics is a globally recognized, peer-reviewed, scientific journal published by Wiley. It focuses on original research related to the  interaction of electromagnetic fields with biological systems, covering a broad frequency spectrum, from static fields to terahertz radiation and visible light. The journal publishes a wide range of content, including experimental and clinical data, as well as theoretical papers that provide fresh perspectives of concepts concerning the interaction of electromagnetic fields with biological systems.

Role and Responsibilities:

As an Associate Editor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and integrity of the journal. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing the peer review process for submitted manuscripts in your area of expertise
• Recruiting qualified reviewers to ensure a fair and timely review process
• Making editorial decisions in collaboration with the Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Board
• Ensuring the high standards of published content align with the journal’s mission
• Contributing to the overall strategic development of the journal

Requirements:

• PhD in physical or biological sciences with considerable knowledge and experience in bioelectromagnetics research
• A strong publication record
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with an international team of editors and reviewers
