We are thrilled to announce that Rosa Orlacchio has been selected as the recipient of the Young Scientist Award in Bioelectromagnetics 2026.
This prestigious award, presented annually by the BioEM Board, recognizes outstanding achievements by early-career researchers who demonstrate innovation, excellence, and impact in the field of bioelectromagnetics. Dr. Orlacchio was selected for her exceptional scientific contributions, outstanding research achievements, and promising impact on the future of the field.
As part of the award, Rosa Orlacchio receives:– A prize of €5,000– A waived registration to attend BioEM 2026– An invited plenary lecture to present her research at the conference
Candidates for the Young Scientist Award must be within 10 years of obtaining their PhD and under 40 years old as of January 1st of the nomination year. Submissions are reviewed by an international selection committee based on research originality, scientific independence, publication impact, and overall contribution to the field.
